The Enterprise Monitoring Solutions Architect owns the Application Monitoring Core Platform and drives Eversource's Application Monitoring standards, processes, and best practices for solution design and development. This position requires technical experience, problem-solving skills, and leadership to advance and mature the Enterprise Monitoring practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a centralized monitoring strategy and program management to streamline processes, reduce costs, and drive business value.
- Collaborate with Product Line leadership and Project Teams to review Application Architecture, evaluate monitoring needs, and recommend appropriate Monitoring solutions.
- Responsible for Operationalization and execution of monitoring activities within the IT product line teams.
- Partner with Infrastructure Team for technical support and necessary integration to strengthen observability.
- Standardize Tools at each architecture layer to maximize capabilities and optimize information.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Reliability and Observability Leader with a hands-on experience leading, designing, and developing Monitoring Solutions for large-scale high-visibility programs at an Enterprise level.
- Excellent knowledge of methodologies, processes, and proven experience with Observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds.
- Experience with Cloud Technologies, preferably Azure, and knowledge of AIOps concepts.
- Proven experience in Agile and strong leadership and technical skills to engage engineers and product owners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills, with a strong understanding of industry standards and technology trends.
Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program, including an annual salary range of $128,880.00 to $143,200.00, plus incentive.
