Plant Operations Director

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the Pocahontas, Arkansas manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost controls.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the production, maintenance, and quality assurance functions to achieve company objectives.
- Direct the coordination of all manufacturing departments to ensure compliance with company standards and improve quality systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase production, line capacity, and crew flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure the safe production of quality products delivered to customers on-time and in-full.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.
- Manage resources, including people, raw materials, machinery, and facilities, to optimize production output.
- Develop and maintain operational expenses within budget and explore cost-reduction measures.
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve manufacturing processes and achieve organizational goals.
- Address employee concerns and foster a positive work atmosphere.
- Mentor and develop direct and indirect reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5 years in a management position.
- Proven knowledge of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership and managerial attributes, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
