Job Description

The Customer Data Steward IBP role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy and adherence to PepsiCo defined global governance practices. This involves driving the team to interact directly with key domain and project stakeholders, the EDG Lead, Governance Council, and other data stewards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver key elements of Data Discovery, Source Identification, Data Quality Management, and cataloging for program & Customer Domain data.
  • Ensure data accuracy and adherence to PepsiCo defined global governance practices.
  • Maintain and advise relevant stakeholders on data governance-related matters in the customer domain and with respect to Demand Planning in IBP.
  • Define Data Quality Rules from Source systems, within the Enterprise Data Foundation, and through to the End User systems.
  • Advise on various projects and initiatives to ensure that any data-related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated, and managed.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management or Data Stewardship experience within a global CPG company or similar industry.
  • Strong data management background with understanding of data, data use, data quality, and stewardship.
  • Functional and/or Data Management Experience in SAP Customer Domain.
  • Ability to partner with business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience working with Visualization BI tools.
  • Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation, and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules.
  • Strong Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • SAP Certifications.
