Position Overview

Tact Staff is currently seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Emergency Department for an exciting opportunity.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Specialty: Emergency Department
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift Length: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Important Billing Information: Candidates contracted for 48 hours will have overtime billed after 48 hours. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting, preferably at a Level III Trauma Center. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Weekend Requirements

Every other weekend availability is required.

Certifications

Mandatory certifications include: ACLS, BCLS, PALS. Preferred certifications are: CPI, TNCC.

Essential Skills

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response
  • IV Therapy/Phlebotomy
  • Continuous IV Sedation
  • CVA and ICP Monitoring
  • Ortho-trauma and Respiratory/Thoracic care
  • Shock/Trauma Experience
  • Triage Charting with EMR experience
