The Travel Nurse RN role at DCH Regional Medical Center focuses on providing exceptional care in the Emergency Room setting. This position requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in emergency nursing.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS
- Preferred Certifications: CPI, TNCC
Candidates must possess the following skills:
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response
- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy
- Continuous IV Sedation
- CVA and ICP Monitoring
- Ortho-trauma and Respiratory/Thoracic expertise
- Experience in Shock/Trauma and Triage
- Specialty: Emergency Room
- Shift Options: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 for Acute Care, 1:6 for Rapid Medical Treatment, and 1:2 for Trauma
- Total Rooms: 52
- Experience Requirement: Minimum of 2 years in an ER setting at a Level III Trauma Center
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Charting System: EMR experience required; Meditech Expanse training provided during orientation
- Cardiac Exam: Must pass during orientation
- Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: One holiday RTO request is permitted from a specified list. Travelers may request up to three consecutive days off surrounding the holiday, with specific conditions on holiday inclusion. Each unit has a maximum number of approvals per holiday.
