About the Role:
Our esteemed client is on the lookout for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with a solid foundation in electrical systems. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the upkeep, repair, and servicing of various facilities and equipment.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will collaborate closely with the in-house engineering team, reporting directly to the senior engineer while also contributing to the broader plant operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in mechanical engineering, with a pronounced emphasis on electrical and maintenance engineering. A completed engineering apprenticeship or equivalent Level 3 qualifications is essential.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Address all mechanical, electrical, and building-related issues.
  • Conduct safety assessments as necessary.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Manage the startup and shutdown of processing equipment and facilities.
  • Implement a scheduled preventative maintenance program to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Adhere to the standards outlined in BS EN ISO 9001:2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and the Company Operations Manual, which may be updated periodically.

Assist with general building maintenance and other miscellaneous tasks as required.


Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning each month dedicated to planned preventative maintenance tasks.
