As an IT Consultant, you will serve as the expert in IT and Cybersecurity for all Managed IT sales initiatives within your designated area. Our Managed IT services are designed to assist businesses in adopting the technology necessary to remain competitive, maintain robust IT infrastructures, and minimize the risk of downtime.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of experienced outside sales professionals and Field Network Engineers to perform thorough system and network evaluations, understand organizational objectives, and create tailored IT and Cybersecurity solutions supported by our cutting-edge technology and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities

* Facilitate initial client calls and in-person meetings with the assigned sales team to identify organizational challenges, present Impact's Managed IT and Cybersecurity services, and demonstrate the benefits of our Business Transformation Assessment (BTA).
* Manage the BTA process, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Collaborate with the Managed IT Team to plan the BTA process and establish timelines.
- Conduct on-site interviews, oversee Field Network Engineers, and set expectations for each phase of the BTA.
- Prepare financial and ROI documentation to support solution sales.
- Refine the BTA report, network diagrams, quotes, and recommendations for client presentation.
* Validate BTA findings with potential clients, translating technical details into accessible language for C-Level executives to illustrate the value of our Managed IT offerings.
* Develop a technology implementation strategy that prioritizes elements for maximum benefit delivery to prospective clients.
* Oversee the Managed IT sales pipeline and meet assigned quotas.
* Conduct training sessions for branch sales teams to enhance their skills in identifying qualified leads for Managed IT and Cybersecurity sales.

Technology Solutions Expertise

* As a Managed IT Consultant, you will lead sales engagements to determine the optimal combination and integration of IT, Cloud, and Cybersecurity solutions, including:
- IT & Cloud Solutions: Security-focused network management, Azure services, Mobile Device Management, Backup & Business Continuity, Network Management, Cloud Hosting, Workspace as a Service, IT Documentation, vCIO Consulting, Cloud VoIP, Productivity Suites, Microsoft Surface Devices, Change Management, and Cybersecurity Solutions: proactive monitoring, Edge Security, Endpoint Protection, Secure Data Protection, Identity Management, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Network Security Monitoring, Compliance Services, and vCISO Consulting.

Desired Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:
* Advanced understanding of RMM, PSA, ticketing, CRM, ERP, and other systems necessary for job performance.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems.
* Fundamental knowledge of server technologies, including Windows Server, Office365/M365, Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies.
* Understanding of networking technologies, including firewalls and switches, and experience with business-grade vendor solutions.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
* Strong technical writing skills.

Experience:
* A minimum of 5 years in Solutions Architecture, Pre-sales Engineering, IT Management, or related fields is required.
* Previous roles may include Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, IT Manager, IT Director, VP of Technology, Infrastructure Manager, Network Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
* 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Partner organizations and managed services environments.
