Clean Harbors, a leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services, is seeking an experienced Class A Driver to join their team in Cincinnati, OH.
This local route involves transporting hazardous waste and non-hazardous materials from various locations within Kentucky, Illinois, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, at least 12 months of driving experience, and relevant endorsements such as HAZMAT and Tanker.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $80K-$105K, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus available. Drivers can expect to work 40-60 hours weekly, with regular home time and opportunities for overtime pay.
The compensation package includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time and mileage pay. Additionally, drivers are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Class A Driver for Clean Harbors, you will be responsible for:
- Operating tractor-trailer units and other vehicles safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading hazardous waste and non-hazardous materials
- Maintaining daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports
- Ensuring compliance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid Class A CDL
- At least 12 months of Class A driving experience
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to effectively use required technology, such as mobile applications and computer software
