About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team at Accurate Chemical. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers in the Metro Phoenix area, ensuring their commercial dish machines, ware wash, and laundry equipment are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine scheduled maintenance for an assigned customer base, ensuring their equipment is in good working condition.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with collections as needed, ensuring timely payment from customers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on commercial dish machines, chemical dispensers, and other equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install new commercial dish machines and chemical dispensing systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing equipment.
  • Respond to and resolve emergency service calls in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Train end-users on chemical systems and equipment, ensuring they are comfortable and confident in their use.
  • Frequently use hand and power tools, safely and efficiently.
  • Safely drive to customer sites, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs and electrical troubleshooting, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in one or more of the following areas: ware wash, laundry industry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC trades.
  • Experience in the commercial chemical industry servicing dish machines/ware wash/laundry a plus, but not required.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work on-call during nights and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background and motor vehicle records check.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Ability to work independently (self-motivated).
  • Possess good organizational skills.
  • Possess good communicational skills.
  • Tech savvy - ability to use smartphones and learn new technologies.
  • Proficiency in the English language, bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, standing, twisting, and bending.
  • Frequent use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work with electrical and plumbing mechanics.
  • Ability to read schematics and follow safety instructions.
Travel

Daily travel by company vehicle is required. Company vehicle, gas card, and maintenance are provided for business use.
