Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to provide top-notch patient care and support our team in delivering exceptional dental services. As a Dental Hygienist at North Myrtle Beach Dentistry, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, working closely with our doctors and hygienists to provide personalized care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Work closely with our doctors and hygienists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough medical and dental histories, and perform patient screenings as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
- Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR certification.
- 1+ years of clinical experience, preferably in a dental office setting.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
