Sand Oak Dental Care is a reputable dental practice seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a patient-driven practice, we prioritize delivering exceptional care and customer service.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to provide top-notch patient care and support our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies to provide the best possible care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and management to ensure excellent patient satisfaction and practice growth.
- Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
- CPR Certification.
- New grads and seasoned hygienists are welcome
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
