We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Department Coordinator to join our Retail team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for promoting an exceptional customer experience and leading a team of Associates to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, demonstrating outstanding customer service and promoting a positive internal and external customer experience.
- Oversee the front-of-store team, ensuring prompt and courteous customer service, and promoting loyalty programs.
- Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles, personalizing the customer experience, and promoting credit and loyalty programs.
- Assign registers, support POS coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for all Associates.
- Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Ensure Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizing as needed.
- Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities, and providing progress updates.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with management on Associate training needs.
- Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Strong understanding of merchandising techniques and capable of multi-tasking.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Able to train others and possess 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
We provide a competitive starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, with opportunities for growth and development.
