We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Intern to join our Professional Services team. As a Financial Reporting Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the team by applying XBRL tagging documents, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating and implementing SEC reporting files for public companies.
Key Responsibilities- XBRL Tagging and Reporting: Apply XBRL tagging information to financial statements and statement footnotes, and tie-out XBRL tagging information within financial statements and statement footnotes to ensure accuracy prior to filing deadline.
- Financial Reporting: Create and implement SEC reporting files for public companies using industry-leading software.
- Team Support: Support Customer Success Managers, Professional Services Managers, and Directors while learning the core aspects of each position.
- Quality Assurance: Test features for Quality Assurance purposes and work with teams on special projects.
- Education: Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Accounting or a similar field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in using spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.
- Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through leadership positions in community, school, or other programs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Professional, outgoing, energetic personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Independence and Initiative: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Software Proficiency: Experience using Excel, Word, Google Docs, and similar word processing programs.
- Competitive Salary: Salary range in the US: $22.00.
