Job Title: Miller Blender

We are seeking a skilled Miller Blender to join our production team at B&G Foods Inc. As a Miller Blender, you will be responsible for operating mills, blenders, and other equipment to process materials in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process materials to meet daily production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
  • Conduct regular checks on equipment and materials to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Take product samples for testing and provide samples to Technical Services as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing boots and socks, and replacing sifter screens.
  • Follow cGMP's and maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely record keeping, including downtime and production recording.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to maintain efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate mechanical aptitude and ability to understand equipment operations.
  • Ability to complete tear-down and reassembly of complex mechanical processes.
  • Intermediate math skills and ability to implement them in different scenarios.
  • Ability to understand batch building and palletizing of ingredients.
  • Must possess or qualify for a forklift license.
  • Ability to learn and operate various equipment, including mills, blenders, and material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand process text and qualify on various machines.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This position is in a manufacturing plant environment, working around moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and motorized vehicles. Must be able to lift up to 110lbs and perform repetitive motions, including twisting wrist, ulnar deviation, and bag cutting.
