Job Summary

As a key member of our revenue management team, the Director of Revenue Analysis will lead the execution of analysis activities focusing on revenue, profit, and demand associated with hotel(s) rooms and space inventory in a given market or cluster. This role will develop and/or use analytical tools and systems to maximize revenues and profit. The successful candidate will be accountable for preparing forecasts, budgets, and projections, and will contribute to sales strategy, evaluating effectiveness, and preparing historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and reporting revenue management data, including compiling information, analyzing and monitoring actual sales against projected sales, and identifying underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information.
  • Providing revenue analysis functional expertise and leadership to general managers, property leadership teams, and market sales leaders.
  • Extracting and analyzing data to draw viable and actionable business conclusions.
  • Preparing forecasts of revenue, profit, demand, and occupancy for rooms and function space.
  • Managing revenue management projects and strategy, including updating market knowledge, aligning strategies and approaches, and achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Building successful relationships with internal stakeholders, including providing targeted and timely communication of results, achievements, and challenges.
  • Managing and conducting human resources activities, including interviewing and hiring employees, developing and implementing departmental orientation programs, and conducting employee performance appraisals.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 4 years of experience in revenue management, sales, and marketing, or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the same fields with 2 years of experience in the same areas will be considered.

What We Offer

Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $99,000 to $132,000 annually, with an annual bonus. Additionally, employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and be eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
