Job Title: EHS Specialist

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive safety program, including training and coaching employees
  • Monitor and report on safety metrics and trends
  • Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable federal and state laws
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in EHS-related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in EHS-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in worker's compensation case management
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in safety-related field
  • Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills
