You will oversee accounts payable and collaborate with the revenue cycle team, providing an opportunity to showcase your leadership capabilities. Interaction with vendor representatives, branch offices, and the executive team will be essential in enhancing the company's operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle accounting, ensuring precision in accounts payable, payroll, general journal entries, and month-end closing for various entities.
- Prepare and thoroughly comprehend a complete set of financial statements and accompanying schedules.
- Conduct analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
- A minimum of three years of experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and independently resolve issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in computer applications with a willingness to learn new software.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent experience in Home Health finance, including knowledge of PDGM reimbursement.
- Familiarity with HCHB and WellSky/Kinnser EMRs.
- Experience with Sage Intacct.
This role offers remote work options, with potential flexibility in scheduling. Consideration will be given for both full-time and part-time arrangements.
