Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Friendship Community Care. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients to develop and implement personalized therapy plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address clients' needs and goals
  • Provide hands-on therapy sessions to clients, including exercises, activities, and education
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure to practice occupational therapy in Arkansas
  • Registration through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
