About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Thrive Pet Healthcare. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options
  • Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems
  • Use safe restraining techniques and follow standard protocols to ensure a clean and sterile environment
Requirements
  • LVT, RVT, or CVT certification (preferred)
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and certain holidays
  • Surgery assisting and anesthesia monitoring experience with Orthopedic and advanced soft tissue experience required
  • ICU/Hospitalization experience a plus (blood transfusions, CRI's post op, complex hospitalizations)
  • Desire to practice empathetic, gold standard medicine benefiting our patients
  • Team-oriented with an ability to collaborate and support each other
