Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is in search of a skilled Podiatrist to deliver exceptional podiatric services at a residential care facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing thorough examinations, conducting diagnostic assessments, and formulating comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to enhance patient mobility and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower leg.
- Assess patient needs and recommend corrective footwear, design orthopedic casts, and create custom shoe solutions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and oversee rehabilitation therapies.
- Order necessary imaging and laboratory evaluations; maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Develop and implement policies regarding podiatric care for facility residents.
- Provide expert consultation and assessment, formulate treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Advise clinical staff on the podiatric requirements of residents, including best practices, procedures, and necessary supplies.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- DPM Degree required.
- Current and active California medical license.
- CPR and BLS certification.
- A minimum of one year of continuous clinical experience within the last three years.
Work Environment:
This role is situated within a residential care facility catering primarily to geriatric patients, with potential younger patients who have disabilities. The position involves a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, in a clinical setting.
