Key Responsibilities- Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs and providing personalized service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty beverages, including coffee, tea, and other drinks, to meet customer preferences and standards.
- Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries and snacks, in accordance with company standards and recipes.
- Count and balance cash drawers, fill out cashier slips, and make deposits as needed.
- Adhere to company cash handling policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
- Set up and break down coffee bars, stations, and stores, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies and materials as needed.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the team and the company.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a barista preferred.
- Basic math and counting skills required.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to follow required dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
- Ability to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
- Complete Food Handling Certification as required.
This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
