Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Conduct daily rounds to assess staff performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the maintenance of crash carts and emergency kits on all floors.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote quality resident care and assume responsibility for the care given under your direct supervision.
- Develop and implement nursing interventions to address resident problems and symptoms.
- Chart significant observations and maintain accurate records of resident care.
- Assess and identify resident problems, symptoms, and behavioral changes.
- Organize nursing care and daily routine efficiently for assigned units.
- Confer with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed to promote quality resident care.
- Maintain a State of TN or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds, and reach above, below, and at shoulder level.
