Facility Maintenance Attendant

Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am-4:30pm) (subject to client requirements)

The Facility Maintenance Attendant role is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of designated areas.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain and clean facilities by performing heavy-duty cleaning tasks, including floor care, carpet shampooing, wall and glass washing, and waste removal.
+ Foster effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and management.
+ Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set forth by the Company, Clients, and regulatory bodies.
+ Flexibility is essential, as Day Porters must be willing to undertake various assigned tasks.
Specific Duties
+ Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum building floors, following proper procedures for chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage.
+ Ensure public areas, both inside and outside the assigned building, are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies, including restrooms as required.
+ Respond promptly to management requests and needs.
+ Collect and dispose of trash.
+ Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and equipment in dining areas.
+ Polish furniture and fixtures to maintain appearance.
+ Service, clean, and restock restroom facilities.
+ Prepare facilities for events by setting up, arranging, and removing decorations, tables, chairs, and other equipment.
+ Keep the janitorial closet organized and maintain equipment in good condition.
+ Order supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
+ Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after hours and checking for potential hazards.
+ Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Must be at least 18 years old.
+ Must meet all requirements for approval to work in specific ATS environments, including a ten-year work history if available.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in customer service.
+ At least one year of related work experience.
