About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at V2X. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our research and development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE) in providing program-level technical guidance and oversight.
  • Represent the program in various technical exchange forums and interactions with stakeholders.
  • Assess technical risk and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Tailor engineering standards and controls to ensure effective technical oversight of technology efforts.
  • Define specific tasking for Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) and University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) efforts.
  • Develop long-range capability gaps and technical roadmaps.
  • Interact with Department of Defense (DoD) Science and Technology (S&T) organizations to identify initiatives addressing capability gaps.
  • Establish and track project technical transition criteria.
  • Provide modeling, simulation, and analysis support.
  • Perform other technical support duties as required by the Program Lead or APMSE.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least seven (7) years of experience with DoD research and development (R&D) procurement.
  • Experience with System of Systems Engineering, modeling, simulation, analysis, demonstration, and test.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating operations across multiple organizational boundaries.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, schedule-constrained, and complex security environment.
