Essential Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst:

1. A seasoned finance expert with over five years of experience in a product-oriented enterprise or professional services environment.

2. Proficiency in SAP, BEX Analyzer, and BW reporting systems.

3. Advanced capabilities in Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Analyst within the Financial Planning & Analysis division plays a crucial role in the preparation, validation, and analysis of both local and corporate management reports, while also supporting various annual and quarterly financial planning initiatives, including budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, this role provides assistance to FP&A managers in diverse financial modeling tasks and collaborates with other functional areas across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

  • Compile monthly sales, gross margin, and P&L reporting packages against budget and previous year, while aiding in variance explanation preparation.
  • Engage in the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts for Sales, Cost of Sales, Gross Margin, and overall Profit & Loss Statements.
  • Assist FP&A managers in creating financial models and analyses to foster collaboration with departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Contribute to the development, distribution, and upkeep of reporting tools, including management dashboards and Balanced Scorecards.
  • Conduct analysis and data mining within SAP and the BEX reporting tool.
  • Support the maintenance of critical financial master data in SAP, encompassing Cost Centers, Cost Elements, Internal Orders, and WBS project codes.
  • Undertake special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven finance professional with a minimum of five years of experience in a product-based company or professional services firm.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, analyses, and projects with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to work independently and efficiently, maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for asking insightful questions and identifying root causes of issues.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SAP, BEX Analyzer, and BW reporting systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Finance/Accounting background with an MBA and/or CPA is advantageous.
Additional Key Requirements:
  • 1-year contract.
  • Hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week.
  • Open to citizens or Green Card holders only.
