Overview

The IT Risk division is dedicated to identifying and mitigating risks through comprehensive internal assessments and evaluations of third-party vendors. The team also plays a crucial role in providing client sales management services, facilitating security awareness training, managing the phishing awareness initiative, and developing and upholding IT policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities


1. Conduct security risk evaluations for business and technology projects, including new vendor integrations and supporting software, by:
- Analyzing security questionnaire responses
- Utilizing web application scanning tools and open-source software assessment technologies
- Reviewing compliance reports such as ISO27001, SOC 2, CSA, SIG, among others.

2. Offer security recommendations to system and technology stakeholders.

3. Assist in organizing phishing awareness training and simulations.

4. Support the development of IT security and compliance training programs.

5. Help coordinate activities for security awareness month.

6. Maintain and revise policies and procedures related to IT and regulatory compliance.

7. Provide compliance management services for sales.

8. Review critical vendors on a regular basis.


Qualifications


Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:
- 0-3 years in IT risk management, IT auditing, or regulatory compliance.


Preferred Qualifications


Education/Certification:
- Industry certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, etc., are preferred.

Skills/Abilities:
- General understanding of risks associated with cloud and on-premise technologies.
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools, particularly in vendor risk management.
- Basic knowledge of phishing and social engineering tactics.
- Experience with open-source software assessment and scanning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to respond promptly and manage escalations professionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research abilities and a proactive approach to information gathering.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and colleagues.
- Capacity to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies.
