Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our team at City Personnel. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of real estate transactions from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire real estate transaction process, ensuring seamless and compliant transactions.
  • Draft and prepare various legal documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and closing statements.
  • Conduct thorough research to support attorneys with negotiations and compliance issues.
  • Ensure all transactions adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Organize and maintain case files and documentation for easy access and reference.
  • Assist in preparing for closings by reviewing closing documents and managing logistics.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Certification as a paralegal (e.g., NALA, NFPA) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law.
  • Comprehensive understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Skilled in legal research and document preparation.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
