As a Branch Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the customer service functions of the branch, ensuring that our team of tellers and personal bankers deliver efficient and comprehensive service. Your responsibilities will include managing existing and new retail products, providing support to team members in customer account management, and acting as a retail lender.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor tellers and personal bankers to ensure optimal service delivery and adherence to Nicolet values. Facilitate ongoing training on new offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager in the recruitment and management of branch personnel.
  • Serve as a resource for personal bankers and tellers, assisting with account openings, transactions, and other customer service duties.
  • Work in conjunction with Operations to address system challenges, test new procedures, and promote consistency across the branch network.
  • Implement tracking systems for new business initiatives and develop strategies to enhance core deposit accounts and referrals.
  • Identify customer needs and promote bank services to strengthen relationships, while effectively resolving any complaints.
  • Expand the customer base through retail lending opportunities, including mortgages and internal loan products.
  • Engage in community activities and volunteer efforts to enhance Nicolet's presence and build rapport with customers and prospects.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, maintaining high standards of service quality.
  • Embrace and promote diversity within the workplace, fostering an inclusive environment that respects various perspectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree in finance or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail banking is required.
  • Preferred candidates will have over 5 years of retail banking experience, including management responsibilities.
