Join Our Team as a Dive Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dive Supervisor to join our team at Ballard Marine Construction. As a Dive Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our dive team and executing field work related to underwater construction, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the dive team to ensure safe and efficient execution of underwater operations
  • Develop and implement emergency/contingency procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Monitor and maintain dive equipment and ensure it is in good working order
  • Develop and implement pre- and post-dive checklists
  • Ensure all personnel on the dive team are qualified and physically able to perform tasks assigned
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience working in commercial diving operations
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to cut and weld steel using underwater welding/burning equipment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive and constructive demeanor in all situations
