Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Momentum PTN is a leading provider of speech and language services for children in the South Bay community. We are currently seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Torrance and Long Beach, CA locations.

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SLP to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessments and treatment to children and their families, as well as communicating effectively with staff, parents, and community partners.
Responsibilities- Providing assessments and treatment to children and their families
- Effectively communicating with staff, parents, and community partners
- Promoting a friendly, comfortable, and safe environment
- Respecting and promoting the rights of individuals
- Tracking upcoming reports due based on the funder
- Completing documentation in a timely fashion, including daily notes and progress reports
- Collaborating with other service providers, including therapists and classroom teachers
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs
- Master of Arts or Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-approved university
- License in Speech-Language Pathology from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
- Meet the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, granted by the American Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
- CPR/First Aid certified
