Job Title: Construction Management Intern

High Construction Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to support our preconstruction, project management, and field management teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist preconstruction team with estimating, including bid solicitation, takeoff, and preparation for project transition
  • Support purchasing activities, including scheduling de-scope meetings, minutes, subcontractor requests, and subcontract preparation
  • Collaborate with project management team on project submittals, RFIs, and documentation
  • Assist with scheduling and change orders
  • Support billing activities, including receiving and approving subcontractor bills, preparing owner bills, and associated backup
  • Assist field management team with inspections, daily logs, and three-week lookahead schedules
Requirements:
  • Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • 1+ years of construction-related experience preferred
  • Competency in Microsoft software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated competency in handling job details, organization, and ability to work independently
