Job Description

We are seeking an AVP, Pacific Civil Works Department Manager to lead our engineering staff on a wide variety of water resources projects. This role will oversee engineering production activities, make decisions and recommendations, and initiate and maintain contact with senior-level management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unit.
  • Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.
  • Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years of leadership.
  • Preferred qualifications include 20+ years of relevant civil/geotechnical engineering experience, 3+ years of experience developing Plans, Specifications, and Construction Estimates (PS&E) packages, and 5+ years managing other engineers.
