Culinary Excellence at Priority Life Care
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Priority Life Care, where we prioritize dignity, compassion, and respect for our residents and staff. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and healthy meals that bring joy to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor and record temperatures in refrigerators and freezers
- Delegate tasks to Prep Cooks and Dietary Aides
- Report any issues or problems to the Dietary Manager
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year of previous experience in food preparation preferred
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
