Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to inspect and verify the quality of our steel products. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a steel mill or industrial furnace environment and be proficient in using various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify the grade of steel products against work instructions
  • Inspect bars for compliance with customer requirements and Quality Workmanship Standards QS-038
  • Properly mark individual identification on each bar and record information on the Final Dimensional Report Form
  • Assist the shipper as required and stand for long periods of time
  • Operate various tools and equipment, including measuring tape, micrometers, profilometer, air polisher, scale, and crane
