College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach language courses in a multicultural environment. As a language instructor, you will have the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning abilities and contribute to their educational success.

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced instructors to teach non-credit, in-person adult enrichment language courses, including Sign Language, Polish, Arabic, and more. These courses are designed for personal growth and development, and most meet once a week for three hours on a weekday evening or Saturday morning for 1-4 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Teach language courses to adults in a classroom setting
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Meet with students and colleagues as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum two years' experience teaching to adults
  • Ability to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus
  • Experience with online or virtual teaching preferred
