We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment and care of patients undergoing transesophageal echo (TEE), cardioversions, cardiac and vascular procedures, including percutaneous coronary intervention (PTCI) and percutaneous vascular intervention under moderate sedation.
- Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies, demonstrating knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system.
- Provide safe medication administration for cardiac patients and utilize appropriate hand-off of care amongst healthcare providers.
- Adhere to department standards for documenting patient care and provide education and discharge planning to patients and families.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days of employment start date.
- NH Licensed Registered Nurse or valid compact state RN License.
- Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience preferred.
