Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at Parkland Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiac services.
Responsibilities- Assist in providing total care of patients before, during, and after procedures, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.
- Document patient information in a complete and timely manner, utilizing computer charting and ordering systems.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to manage a multitasking workload, ensuring efficient delivery of care for multiple patient assignments.
- Utilize triage skills to assess patient needs and respond accordingly, maintaining excellent assessment and reassessment skills.
- Provide information to patients, assess barriers to learning, and utilize colleagues as resources as needed.
- Collect and process specimens for point-of-care testing, perform testing according to established policies and procedures, and maintain instrument quality control.
- Associate's Degree in Registered Professional Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact License when applicable.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- 2 years of RN experience in Cath Lab and Interventions preferred.
