Role Overview

The Senior Operations Engineer Consultant - API Gateway Services (Hybrid) position provides you with the autonomy to manage your daily tasks while collaborating with dedicated colleagues to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and spearhead the execution of operational priorities by evaluating objectives and coordinating interconnected teams and systems.
  • Formulate operational strategies to resolve business challenges and guide the technical direction of the team.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives within the business unit by analyzing, assessing, and recommending process improvements, as well as facilitating efficient execution.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge to inform design and modification teams, supporting the development of thought leadership.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 6 years of experience in software engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in API Development
  • 4+ years of experience in AWS Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience advising on Cloud strategy and modernization initiatives
  • 4 years of experience mentoring and leading junior engineers
  • Experience collaborating with technical, business, and executive stakeholders
  • Experience overseeing incident response and maintenance operations

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • AWS Certifications
  • Previous experience in financial services
