Key Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist, your duties will encompass:

  • Conducting comprehensive asset inventories of IT hardware across various environments, including challenging conditions such as low light and confined spaces.
  • Operating a 16-24 foot box truck for the collection and delivery of materials.
  • Executing primary warehouse operations, including central receiving, both long-term and short-term storage, packing, crating, and providing miscellaneous logistical services as needed.
  • Participating in outdoor agency events, which may require prolonged periods of walking or standing, along with extended hours of duty.
  • Managing all aspects of shipments, excess inventory, and storage, ensuring accurate acknowledgment of deliveries and maintaining database integrity.
  • Performing resource management analysis, focusing on funding execution rates, size and cost assessments, and success in securing appropriations for new program initiatives.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to agency clients while adhering to all safety protocols.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 80 pounds and navigate various physical tasks.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in property inventory management.
  • A general understanding of logistics, supply chain management, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Familiarity with automated systems, including desktop and internet/intranet applications.
  • The ability to work with multiple databases concurrently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with management, engineers, and vendor partners.
