We are in search of a skilled and meticulous Accounting Specialist with expertise in QuickBooks to contribute to our operations. The ideal candidate will take charge of the reconciliation procedures, ensuring precision in financial records and maintaining uniformity across documentation. This position demands the adept management of numerous reconciliations each day while upholding exceptional standards of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee outsourced reconciliation tasks, thoroughly examining financial documents against bank statements, invoices, and other relevant records to pinpoint and correct discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve potential errors and inconsistencies beyond simple balance checks, guaranteeing thorough accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Execute 3-5 bank reconciliations daily, with an anticipated completion time of around 1 hour per reconciliation.
  • Supervise the reconciliation process by contrasting financial records with bank statements, invoices, and additional documentation.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Pro for maintaining records, conducting reconciliation activities, and generating reports.
  • Accurately input data using a 10-Key pad.
  • Draft and manage confirmation letters and other necessary documentation utilizing Microsoft Word.
  • Conduct basic tasks and manage data in Microsoft Excel.
  • Apply knowledge of tax regulations to ensure compliance in financial reporting.


Qualifications:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Typing speed of 51+ words per minute.
  • Experience in managing outsourced reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately within a structured billing environment.


Additional Expectations:

  • No vacations permitted during peak operational periods.
