The Manufacturing Automation Engineer plays a crucial role in leveraging technology to oversee, regulate, and enhance production workflows. This position involves the design, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of automated systems to guarantee effective and accurate task execution.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop optimal layouts for equipment and workspaces to maximize productivity
  • Install, diagnose, and evaluate manufacturing machinery
  • Apply continuous improvement strategies to boost quality and reduce costs
  • Identify enhancements for products and cost-saving opportunities
  • Communicate production capabilities and timelines effectively
  • Assess products against quality benchmarks
  • Investigate and resolve operational challenges
  • Estimate costs and timelines for new manufacturing designs
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for production processes
  • Offer technical assistance in manufacturing operations
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an organized workspace
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering with a focus on controls
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in designing automation systems
  • Proficiency in programming, particularly in C#
  • In-depth understanding of machine operations
  • Capability to troubleshoot machinery and conduct complex testing
  • Strong leadership and effective communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work both in an office setting and on the production floor
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
Work Environment:
  • Office environment with exposure to machinery noise
