Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures, including M-MODE, 2D, PW/CW DOPPLER, COLOR FLOW IMAGING, STRESS ECHOES, TRANSESOPHAGEAL, and CONTRAST ULTRASOUND studies.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, acquiring demographic information, and correlating symptoms with findings.
- Recognize abnormal pathology and demonstrate correlation of this information into a useful study, generating a permanent record on the digital PACS system and hardcopy.
- Prepare initial reports for cardiologists to read and initiate direct notification for issues requiring immediate attention.
- Registered in Cardiac Ultrasound preferred.
- Four to five years of Cardiac ultrasound experience required, with knowledge of M-MODE, 2D, COLOR FLOW IMAGING, and Doppler.
- Experience with transesophageal imaging and stress echo preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of special needs and behaviors of infant, child, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients required/preferred.
