Nurse Auditor

The Nurse Auditor is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for auditing charts for gaps in care and documentation deficiencies, monitoring and reporting trends of chart audit findings, and elevating deficiencies to nursing leadership and the CNO.

• Conduct thorough chart reviews to identify areas of opportunity and assess compliance with regulatory requirements
• Document findings and elevate results appropriately to nursing leadership and the CNO
• Monitor and report trends of chart audit findings to inform quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives related to compliance and safety
• Conduct performance and compliance audits in a timely and efficient manner

• Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• 2 years of supervisory experience at the Manager level or above in a leadership capacity with direct reports in the acute-care clinical setting
• 3-5 years acute care experience as a Registered Nurse, with Emergency Department experience preferred
• 1 year experience conducting regular chart reviews using Cerner
