Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough audits of patient charts to identify gaps in care and documentation deficiencies.
- Monitor and report trends in chart audit findings to nursing leadership and the CNO.
- Lead leadership rounds on patient units to identify areas of opportunity and assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Document findings and elevate results appropriately.
- Support performance improvement initiatives related to compliance and safety.
- Conduct performance and compliance audits in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain patient, medical record, department, and employee confidentiality at all times.
- Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of supervisory experience at the Manager level or above in a leadership capacity with direct reports in the acute-care clinical setting.
- 3-5 years acute care experience as a Registered Nurse. Emergency Department experience preferred.
- 1 year experience conducting regular chart reviews using Cerner.
