We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Lovelace Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating, under the supervision of nursing and medical staff.
- Observe patients' progress and prepare reports for Registered Nurses and other medical staff.
- Collect and record patients' vital signs and specimens for lab tests.
- Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
- Measure and record patients' intake and output, and assist with range of motion exercises.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Preferred qualifications include 2 years' experience in acute or long-term care, completion of CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, and knowledge of medical terminology.
