Position Overview: The Head of Financial Operations will oversee all aspects of accounting functions and financial disclosures. Collaboration with the Finance Director is crucial to ensure that financial activities are in harmony with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practical Accounting: Supervise Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate and disseminate precise monthly financial reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budget formulation process and track financial outcomes.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and uphold robust internal control systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to governmental reporting standards.
  • Month-End/Year-End Close: Assist in the closing procedures.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Finance Director on financial strategy and risk evaluation.
  • Process Enhancement: Create and document operational processes.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Manage the coordination of regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Controller or Head of Financial Operations.
  • 8+ years in accounting and finance roles.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards and practices.
  • Experience with financial reports and general ledger operations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple assignments with precision.
  • Bonus: Experience in capital fundraising and investor relations management.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with subscription-based business models.
