Key Responsibilities:
- Input prescriptions from initial intake to order fulfillment while verifying member/patient information.
- Act as a liaison for the pharmacy team by communicating with patients, pharmacists, and healthcare providers.
- Utilize clear and concise communication via phone and electronic methods to interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Reach out to patients to conduct refill assessments, gather payment details, arrange delivery specifics, and coordinate treatment in outpatient facilities.
- Access, enter, and retrieve prescription and medical/lab data from the computer system.
- Determine medication reimbursement eligibility and resolve any rejected claims.
- Process prescription refills and assess supply requirements related to various therapies.
- Address customer inquiries, ensuring accurate information is provided.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and facilitate communication from various business partners, focusing on patient-centered quality care.
- Adhere to all State and Federal regulations, as well as Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with the team to promptly address all compounding needs.
- Engage in ongoing training related to sterile compounding.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Florida.
- Intermediate proficiency with Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer systems.
- Capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).
- Previous experience in Home Infusion.
- Experience in pharmacy/prescription data entry.
