Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating project activities related to the planning and execution of medium and large capital infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage water/wastewater projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and schedule.
  • Coordinate with operations personnel and contract operations to develop project plans and secure external and internal funding approvals.
  • Develop and manage technical, bidding, and contractual documents in accordance with enterprise engineering guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise Technical and Environmental Health and Safety/Security standards.
  • Manage environmental and governmental permitting in coordination with local business unit staff.
  • Provide project oversight and ensure timely completion of assignments, budget compliance, and adherence to applicable standards.
  • Drive efficiency into project delivery through monitoring of delivery metrics and utilization of alternate procurement and delivery methods.
  • Provide monthly reports to management regarding project status and issues affecting performance.
  • Participate in the development of engineering design and delivery processes and standards.
  • Support local operations and business development teams to develop opportunities for additional services on existing contracts and support development of new contracts and proposals.
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing capital infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of enterprise engineering guidelines and standards.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive project delivery and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
