MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist for a travel job in the United States.

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist, with ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls on equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media if applicable
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images in sequence of exposure
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 18 months of experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

This is a contract position with an estimated weekly salary range of $1,500-$2,000, depending on experience and location. Additionally, you can expect:
