Job Overview

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Mobile Radiology Imaging Specialist to join their team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This 13-week travel assignment offers the opportunity to work as an Intervential Radiology Technologist and make a difference in the lives of patients.

About the Job

This role will involve working 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week, with a shift schedule that includes days only. As a Mobile Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic procedures, including interventional radiology, using advanced technology and equipment
  • Analyze images to ensure accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as an RT(R) or R(T)

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $$114,140 per year, based on a 36-hour workweek and 13 weeks of employment. This figure is subject to confirmation and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
